On April 18th in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Normal Foundation, the museum was transformed into a breathtaking backdrop for the NorvalFoundation x Kat van Duinen Fashion Show. The 30 silhouettes created for the occasion took center stage against the stunning artworks that adorned the walls.
From the moment the first model stepped onto the runway, it was clear that this was no ordinary fashion show. Each piece was a work of art in its own right, starting with large voluminous sculptural pieces and ending with sheer and revealing garments.
But it wasn't just about the clothes. The collection told a powerful story of becoming and shedding the many layers of things that hold us back and weigh us down. It was about choosing to be ourselves stripped of all the burdens of the past, stepping into our own power, and embracing our true selves.
Kat van Duinen's collection was a celebration of individuality and self-expression, encouraging us all to break free from societal norms and embrace our uniqueness. The clothes were designed to empower and inspire, with each piece representing a new chapter in our journey toward self-discovery.
